Gleeson College is seeking to appoint several permanent teaching positions in 2022.

Teachers at Gleeson College are required to demonstrate a commitment to the belief that all students can be thriving people, capable learners, leaders for the world God desires, and work to ensure that students develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to thrive in a rapidly changing and complex world.

We seek applications from suitably qualified, highly driven and innovative teachers in the following subject areas:
  • Art / Design
  • English
  • History
  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Legal Studies
  • Mathematics (Senior years)
  • Physics
  • Science

The ability to teach Religious Education, PLP and/or Research Project would be an advantage but is not essential.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Their experience in teaching the relevant subject area
  • Their ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and families and the wider educational community
  • Their commitment to supporting and representing the ethos of our Catholic College as outlined in the Gleeson 10 and the Gleeson Staff 5.

The successful candidate will be expected to undergo our screening process.

  • A covering letter (no more than one page);
  • A curriculum Vitae (two to three pages);
